Meet Robert Black

Robert joined the Charles Aris team to develop the Digital Media and eCommerce practice. Robert has a wide range of both traditional and unconventional marketing experience. His track record with a broad range of media channels makes him a valuable asset to our clients. Starting with boutique advertising firm, Robert cut his teeth learning the basics of local advertising, account management, media planning, and working with creative talent. He worked in sports marketing with a Los Angeles Dodgers minor league baseball team, the Indy Racing League, and with racetrack superstar Danica Patrick during her initial return to the US from Europe before her career accelerated. Robert added more to his agency experience with four years (2002-2006) as a Senior Partner with Point Blank Advertising, a North Carolina based creative agency. In 2008, he jumped into entertainment marketing. Within months of the move, Robert was hired to develop and execute the premiere and release of "Running The Sahara," a documentary produced and narrated by Matt Damon. The success enabled him to develop new partnerships in the industry.

A highlighted client, M Entertainment, Robert led business development by partnering with brands, organizations, and other productions. Robert led M Entertainment's participation in one of the largest social media/ PR campaigns in social media history in partnership with Frito-Lay. In support and launch of the brand's "All Natural" initiative, M Entertainment led the production and distribution efforts of an entire week of shooting in Times Square while broadcasting live cooking demonstrations onto the video boards in Times Square and onto Facebook. Prior to the week long event, Frito Lay had 50,000+ followers on Facebook. When the event concluded, the Frito Lay Facebook's page had over 2,100,000 "Likes." This event is now acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records.
