- Our process. The Charles Aris Priority Search
is the most advanced and thorough recruiting process in the industry.
What does that mean for you? It’s fourteen steps that ensure
that we don’t take any short-cuts in identifying, qualifying
and attracting the talent that will take your company to the next
level.
- Our size. With twenty plus staff members,
we’re considerably larger than the average recruiting firm.
Our size allows us to allocate additional staff to urgent projects
as needed. In addition, with so much recruiting taking place every
year (we’ve filled over 500 positions during the past three
years alone) we’re constantly leveraging our size by sharing
our experiences and best practices with our clients.
- Dedicated Knowledge Management department.
We’ve learned that up front planning is one of the keys
to a successful and streamlined search, which is why every one
of our projects starts with our Knowledge Management department.
Our Knowledge Management team has an extensive portfolio of research
tools that allow us to “jump start” each of our searches.
- Personality profiling tools. Charles Aris
uses the SelecSys system to match the behavioral traits
of the candidate to the core competencies of the position. The
SelecSys system is an included service with our Priority
Search Agreements. The hiring authority at your company completes
a short online questionnaire that identifies the core competencies
of the position. Candidates then complete an online profile,
and the SelecSys process evaluates the candidate along
five dimensions: extroversion, dominance, patience, conformity
and conscientiousness. These traits are then matched to the
required competencies of the position, resulting in a quantitative
assessment of a candidate’s fit with the job. To download

- Videoconferencing capabilities. Traveling
to see candidates can be one of the most expensive components
of a search, which is why we’ve invested in a video-conferencing
system that works in conjunction with over 400 locations in the
United States and internationally.
- Background research services. Depending on
the needs of the client, Charles Aris can complete thorough background
checks on any candidate, from confirming education to work experience
and everything in-between.
- Relocation services. Relocating an employee
can be an extremely stressful undertaking. That’s why we’ve
partnered with a national relocation service that helps to ease
the burden. Our relocation partner provides cost of living analysis,
home finding assistance, mortgage services and significant savings
on moving and travel costs.
