Peter Amidon

Meet Peter Amidon

Peter Amidon is the Director of Knowledge Management for Charles Aris. He directs all technology and information-based projects for the organization including the production and delivery of resources to meet client needs. Prior to joining Charles Aris, Peter served as the Global Manager of Web Communications at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a global leader in leadership and leadership development. At CCL, Peter and his team managed all the external client sites including the corporate site as well as myCCL — a portal site for CCL participants. Peter was instrumental in the strategy, development and implementation of this portal during his time at CCL.

Prior to joining CCL, Peter started his own company — Amidon Solutions, Inc. — to develop Web sites and applications for small businesses and non-profits. He also taught Spanish at Greensboro Day School as well as worked at the Atlanta Olympic Games as the Venue Transportation Manager at the Georgia International Horse Park.

Peter enjoys travelling and has explored many sites throughout Europe, Latin America and parts of Asia and Africa. In addition, he has lived abroad in Turkey, Spain and Costa Rica.

Peter holds a Masters in Information Technology Management (MSITM) from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, and a B.A. in History from Davidson College.
