C. Mitchell Oakley, Jr. – President and Managing Director

Since 1969 “Mitch” has served as the President and Managing Director of Charles Aris. In his thirty-five years in the industry Mitch has completed hundreds of individual searches, and is now recognized as one of the leading executive search professionals in the industry. While acting as a generalist in executive search, Mitch has deep experience in the consumer, industrial and service industries. In addition he has assisted clients in finding talent at all levels of the organizational structure, to include Directors, Vice Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Information Officers and Chief Financial Officers. Mitch attended Guilford College in North Carolina.

Chad M. Oakley III – Vice President of Business Development

Chad has served as the Vice President of Business Development at Charles Aris since 2003. Prior to joining Charles Aris, Chad served as a Consultant and Case Team Leader in the Boston practice of Bain & Company. While at Bain Chad focused on solving strategic challenges for clients in industries such as software, telecommunications, optical networking, manufacturing and financial services. Prior to joining Bain Chad worked in the Philadelphia practice of Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, where he focused on health care, pharmaceuticals and oil & gas. Chad holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
